Graduate in visual arts and experienced in many medias, Julie Bernier is dedicated to mural arts, fresco, faux-fini painting and photography.
She carried out many solo and group mural fresca projects. The Pilar frescoes and the Zone-Art frescoes are monumental work of arts painted by mural artists in 2000, 2001 and 2002. She is one of the mural painting artists that took part actively during the 3 years on the worksite and also designed in partnership some of the Zone-Art frescos.
Always searching for new horizons, she traveled to Santo André, Brazil to participate at the Graffiti nossaparte, a World Graffiti convention. Invited as part of a Québec mural painter artist delegation, she participated to the Québec-Amérique youth program and the Café Graffiti project that allowed relationships with other countries of the American continent. Graffiti is part of the wide world of mural arts.
Julie is always inspired by grand format because she started realizing live grand paintings and scenerys. Since 15 years, she’s painting different styles with different mediums.
Specialized in Trompe l’œil, she is somehow very inspired by symbolics, abstract art and everything that sends a message and an emotion. Passioned by art in general, music and design, she creates unique work of arts, respecing personnality and good taste. She loves teaching and sharing her passion for fresco, mural arts techniques and her own experiences to young people. |
